The wastewater treatment plant “LA SAUCEDA”, distributes treated water of gravity via an elevated tank to “Parque Madero”, in its green areas, dancing fountain and park “La Sauceda” (main recreational parks of the city), also for irrigation of green areas of the University Kino, medians, etc.
In addition, Agua de Hermosillo transfers the treated water to remote areas through pipes for its reuse in irrigation of streets (dirt), green areas, use in construction areas etc.
In a first stage, the plant was built with a capacity of 50 lps and has provided its expansion to 75 lps.
